Crusade Project at Raw Materials Summit 2026

With 𝟏,𝟏𝟎𝟎+ participants in 📍Brussels, the 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐚𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 marked a turning point: we’ve moved 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘴 and are now deep in the 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦 of securing Europe’s raw materials sovereignty.
As underscored at the event:

At the Summit, 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 ♻️stole the spotlight—showcasing breakthroughs in:
❌Rare earth recovery from end-of-life magnets.
❌Mineral extraction from industrial waste.
❌AI-powered scrap sorting.
❌Battery material recovery.
💡 And this is where Crusade Project proudly contributes.
Funded by 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞, the CRUSADE project was actively present by Jakub Szałatkiewicz EIT RawMaterials & Camilo Prieto from AIMEN Centro Tecnológico —engaging with policymakers, investors, industry leaders, and fellow EU projects to advance our mission:
✅ Recovering Pt, Pd, Rh, Li, Co, Ni, Cu, and Au from end-of-life vehicle components.
✅ Validating recycled CRMs in new batteries, autocatalysts, and PCBs.
✅ Integrating AI + LIBS sorting , microwave-assisted leaching , and blockchain traceability.
Through strategic networking at RMSummit2026, Crusade Project strengthened ties with complementary projects initiatives like NetHelixEU, EuroTITAN, WIDEX EU Project reinforcing a unified European ecosystem for 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲.
The message is clear:
